The head retracts up and out of the way the moment the operator lets go. 2-3 kg (4.4-6.6 lb) capacity with a 1600 mm (5.2 ft) stainless steel cable and cast aluminum housing. Spring tension adjusts by knob to match your exact head weight.
The ASG 90079 spring balancer keeps a 2 to 3 kg (4.4 to 6.6 lb) tool suspended and ready at the point of use. We offer it primarily for hanging refrigerant charging injector heads, such as the iRockall and iFuji heads, at the charging station. The operator pulls the head down, couples to the unit, and the head returns to position as soon as it's released. That keeps the head off the bench between cycles, takes strain off hoses and fittings, and saves the operator's arms over a full shift.
The stainless steel cable extends smoothly through its full 1600 mm (5.2 ft) stroke, and the top-mounted knob adjusts spring tension so you can dial the balance to the exact weight of the head. The cast aluminum housing holds up to daily production use, and a secondary safety suspension point gives you a backup attachment for overhead mounting.
It works just as well for electric screwdrivers, nutrunners, and any other hand tool in the 2 to 3 kg range that gets picked up hundreds of times a day.
