Edwards E2M28 Two-Stage Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump

The E2M28 is the step up from the E2M18 when your evacuation times are the bottleneck. It moves 19.5 CFM at 60 Hz, roughly 60 percent more pumping speed than the 18, while reaching the same 7.5 x 10⁻⁴ Torr ultimate pressure. On a production line, that difference shows up directly in cycle time.

Its larger gas ballast capacity handles 0.7 kg/hr of water vapor, double the E2M18, which matters on refrigeration dehydration work and any process pulling moisture out of a system. The single phase motor is thermal-overload protected with automatic reset, runs 110/240V 50/60Hz without rewiring, and holds to 57 dB(A) even at the higher throughput. Two oil drain plugs allow gravity or pressure draining, and the full-height O-ring sealed sight glass makes level checks a glance.
