The E2M18 is Edwards' industry-standard two-stage oil-sealed rotary vane pump. It delivers 12 CFM of pumping speed down to an ultimate pressure of 7.5 x 10⁻⁴ Torr, which makes it the workhorse behind evacuation stations, pre-evacuation stages, leak-test setups, and mobile pump carts on HVAC/R production lines. It's equally at home backing a turbomolecular pump or pulling down a lab system.
The gas ballast valve handles the water vapor loads that come with refrigeration dehydration work, and the full-height oil sight glass makes level checks a glance instead of a chore. The single phase motor is thermal-overload protected with automatic reset, runs on 110/240V 50/60Hz without rewiring, and holds noise to a quiet 57 dB(A) on the floor.
